Janes parents were Joseph Austin and Lavinia Stubbs.
Jane or Jinny as she was known never married and lived with her brother Arthur most of her life, at 13 Booth Street, Audley. She died aged 54 and was buried in Audley St James church on the 14th March 1953 but there is no monument inscription.
The grave is also that of her sister Elizabeth. Her place of residence when she died is given as Grassy Lane, but Booth Street was not given up until after her death, so she probably spent her last days with her sister Elizabeth who lived in Grassy Lane.
